Four Mexico Residents Arrested After Drug Related Search Warrants Served In Audrain County

The following press release was sent from the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office.

During the early morning hours of Sunday, April 6, 2025, the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff‘s Office, the Mexico Department of Public Safety, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, served a search warrant at a residence on South Olive Street in Mexico, Audrain County, Missouri.

As a result of the search warrant, officers arrested two (2) people and seized Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, stolen property, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia used in the illegal distribution and use of illegal controlled substances.

Arrested:
1. Matthew A. Crenshaw, age 22 of Mexico, Missouri, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance, Theft of a Firearm, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Crenshaw remains incarcerated on a $15,000 bond arrest warrant.

2. Kenadi M. Lovelace, age 21 of Mexico, Missouri, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Keeping or Maintaining a Public Nuisance, Theft of a Firearm, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Lovelace remains incarcerated on a $15,000 bond arrest warrant.

During the mid-morning hours of Sunday, April 6, 2025, the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff‘s Office, and the Mexico Department of Public Safety, served a search warrant upon a hotel room in Mexico, Missouri.

As a result of the search warrant, officers arrested one (1) person and seized Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and multiple items of drug paraphernalia used in the ingestion of illegal controlled substances.

Arrested:
1. Makayla M. Crenshaw, age 26, of Mexico, Missouri, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Theft
of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Money Laundering, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and an outstanding Felony arrest warrant.

Crenshaw remains incarcerated on a no bond arrest warrant.

During the afternoon hours of Sunday, April 6, 2025, the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff‘s Office, and the Mexico Department of Public Safety, served a search warrant on East Love Street in Mexico, Missouri, As a result of the search warrant, officers arrested one (1) person regarding an ongoing criminal investigation, and seized drug paraphernalia used in the ingestion of illegal controlled substances.

Arrested:
1. Michael E. Bartlow, age 49, of Mexico, Missouri, for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Money Laundering, and Stealing a Firearm. Bartlow Remains incarcerated on a no-bond arrest warrant.
