Calls for service:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, Apr. 4, 2025:

  • Suspicious person on West Monroe.
  • Domestic physical incident at Falcon Drive.
  • Stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.

Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, Apr. 5, 2025.

  • Careless and imprudent driver on Summit.
  • Domestic verbal incident at West Monroe.
  • Shots fired reported at 1719 South Clark.

Mexico Public Safety went to these calls on Sunday, Apr. 6, 2025:

  • Suspicious person on West Pearson.
  • Property damage at East Monroe.
  • Domestic physical incident on North Western.
  • Stolen vehicle reported at Fairground Road.
  • Stealing or theft on South Morris Street.
  • Fraud at the Vance Road apartment building.

Car accidents:

Mexico Public Safety responded to a two-car accident on West Love at Wade on Saturday, Apr. 5, 2025.

According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Mexico boy failed to stop at a posted stop sign and a collided with a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Rachel Karhoff of Mexico.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Mexico Public Safety responded to a one-car accident in the 800 block of North Agricultural on Saturday, Apr. 5, 2025.

According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Mexico boy hydroplaned due to the road conditions.

The vehicle went off the road and slid into the grass.

No injuries were reported.
