Chism at Work in Auxvasse City Offices

Former Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism has a new job.

Chism, who pled guilty in December 2023 to misdemeanor DWI and had his peace officer license revoked in March 2024, has apparently been working for the City of Auxvasse since February.

According to a facebook post, Chism serves as a program administrator for the city of Auxvasse, helping to oversee state and federal grants to support city operations, and assists the city administrator with various duties.

The Facebook post had over 100 comments and 300 reactions Thursday evening congratulating Chism on the role.
