Nationally known radio host Rwody Yates visited mid-Missouri over the weekend. In addition from doing his nationwide show from the Country 96 studios, Yates held a meet and greet at the banded Rooster in Kingdom City. While he was there, Country 96, KWWR, held a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society.
Nearly $500 was raised at the event, and will be donated to the Audrain County Relay for Life in September, in the name of Rowdy’s wife, Kim, who is a two-time cancer survivor.
