Minter Arrested for March Shooting

A Mexico man has been arrested after allegedly being involved in a shooting from March.

Casey Minter Jr.’s warrant was served earlier today for conspiracy to commit a felony, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree property damage.

According to probable cause statements, a 15-year-old shot at a home in the 300 block of North Missouri Street multiple times on March 26, and that three residents were in the home at the time of the shooting.

Security camera footage showed an SUV that Minter commonly drove in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

The statements say that Minter was pulled over on April 8th, and that authorities found a gun matching the one used in the shooting.

A witness also reported seeing Minter drive the juvenile and hand him the gun.

Minter is being held in the Audrain County Jail without bond.
