Audrain County hearing today for Armour
A confined docket hearing scheduled for Charles Armour is set for 9 a.m. Thursday at the Audrain County Courthouse, The 19-year-old Paris man was charged as an adult this week in connection to a 2023 Audrain County homicide.
Armour faces charges of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action, according to court documents. He, alongside Christopher Brickey, were arrested in connection to the shooting death of 23-year-old Matthew Stewart of Vandalia on Nov. 30, 2023.
Brickey also faces charges of first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Court documents allege that Armour and Brickey shot Stewart multiple times on Audrain Road 556. Stewart was later found alongside the road with multiple gunshot wounds, and died from those wounds.
Brickey has a case review hearing set for Oct. 29 at the Audrain County Courthouse.
