The Mexico City Council set to meet in regular session tonight at City Hall.
In new business they will hear an Ordinance calling for and establishing the Filing Dates for the 2026 Municipal General Election, which will need to fill Two Three-Year Terms on the City Council.
In old business, they will renew a resolution Authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Agreement with the Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce to assist in Marketing Activities for the City of Mexico.
They’ll hear a Resolution authorizing the City of Mexico, to accept temporary Construction Easements for the North Calhoun Street Stormwater Improvement Project
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign contract documents with Surdex Corporation for the 2025 Aerial Photography Project.
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to sign Change Order 1 with Rhad Baker Construction, LLC for the North Kentucky Street Stormwater Improvement Project
They will also hear Staff Reports on the Audrain Medical Center Abatement Cost Share with the County of Audrain, the Purchase of a Cab Tractor and Street Sweeper for the Street Division, and a purchase of Three Lift Station Cellular Alarm Systems with Municipal Equipment Company, Inc as well as the Purchase of Equipment to Upgrade the Ultraviolet Disinfection System for the Wastewater Department, Repair Work on the Mexico Industrial Rail Spur, Purchase of a Multi-Function Copier, and Purchase of a Truck for the Parks Maintenance Department.
