paving the way for Boone Hospital to potentially build a new critical access hospital in the area, although no contract has been signed yet.
Progress on this project is expected to take about three years, giving the community hope for improved healthcare facilities.
Council members also set dates for the upcoming April election, with two out of five seats opening, and continued work on long-standing road projects along North Calhoun and North Kentucky Streets.
