Lake Ozark Board to vote on Osage Casinos

Tonight, the Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen will decide whether to approve a major development deal with Osage Casinos.

The proposed $60 million project at 3501 Bagnell Dam Boulevard is part of the Osage Nation’s new entertainment district and includes plans for a casino, hotel, restaurant, and event center.

If approved, the Nation will pay the city a 2.5% share of gaming profits and 1% hotel resort fees in quarterly installments to support local services.

The agreement also outlines police cooperation and infrastructure responsibilities between the city and the Osage Nation.

The council votes tonight at 5:30 at City Hall.
