Audrain County Murder Case Moved to Warren County

The murder case of one suspect in a 2023 Audrain County homicide has been moved to Warren County.

Seventeen-year-old Charles Armour, now charged as an adult, faces first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and armed criminal action charges in the shooting death of 23-year-old Matthew Stewart of Vandalia.

Investigators say Stewart was found with multiple gunshot wounds along Audrain Road 556 in November 2023.

Armour is charged alongside Christopher Brickey.

A case review hearing for Armour is set for February 19th at the Warren County Courthouse in Warrenton.
