The City of Moberly is encouraging residents to sign up for its emergency alert system.
Scott McGarvey, Community Relations Manager for the City of Moberly, says the notification system is designed to quickly alert citizens about severe weather, public safety concerns, and emergencies that may impact specific neighborhoods.
McGarvey says the system allows the city to send targeted alerts meaning if there’s an incident in your particular area of town, you’ll receive a notification directly to your phone or email with timely information.
City officials say these alerts can include severe weather warnings, road closures, utility disruptions, or other urgent community updates.
Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to register through the City of Moberly’s website to ensure they receive important notifications when they matter most.
