Jefferson City’s Pizza Challenge sees prize pot grow

In Jefferson City, the West Main Pizza Challenge is heating up.

The prize pot has climbed to fifteen hundred dollars as of Wednesday.

Contestants pay seventy bucks and get one hour to finish a massive twenty-six-inch, seven-pound, one-topping pizza all without leaving their seat.

Each failed attempt adds more money to the pot, and so far, no winners in 2026.

The challenge has gone viral on social media, with the local pizzeria now booked out for weeks.

Owner Aimee Deline says what started as a fun idea twelve years ago has become a booming community event drawing crowds and hungry hopefuls eager to take their shot at pizza glory.
