Rush Hill man Sentenced to Life Behind Bars
A Rush Hill man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for sexually abusing multiple children over more than a decade.
Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney Jacob Shellabarger says 41-year-old William Joseph Dahl was sentenced to the Missouri Department of Corrections for five sex crimes involving five victims, including an eight-year-old girl.
Dahl had already received a fifty-year federal sentence in a related child pornography case, and the state sentences will run at the same time.
Shellabarger praised the victims’ courage and the investigators who uncovered the crimes, calling the case a clear message that abusers in Audrain County will be held fully accountable.
