One woman is in custody after a duplex fire in Columbia Friday morning.
Police say 31-year-old Anjaleque Bragg was arrested on charges of first-degree arson and first-degree assault.
Fire crews were called to the 1900 block of Newton Drive around 10 a.m.
Flames were coming from the two-story home when they arrived.
Everyone inside had evacuated, but one person was taken to the hospital for an unrelated injury.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control within four minutes.
Investigators with the Columbia Fire Marshal’s office are still looking into what caused the fire.
