Jefferson City structure fire Saturday

Jefferson City Fire crews were busy Saturday. The JCFD was called out at 5:37PM to a structure fire in the 2600 block of Southridge Dr.

Upon arrival, fire personnel found a heavy fire coming from a single-story metal building.

Fire crews made an interior attack and got the incident under control quickly, however, there was significant fire damage to the structure. The building’s contents also suffered heavy fire and smoke damage.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
