The Missouri State Highway Patrol pulled a drowning victim from Morningside Lake in Fulton Thursday morning.
According to the Fulton Police Department, the Fulton PD, Fulton Fire Department and Callaway Ambulance District responded to a report of a person in the water yelling for help in Morningside Lake at around 10:09 a.m. today.
First responders did not see anyone in the water upon arrival, but, according to the release, a witness directed responders to an approximate location.
The Highway Patrol was called and searched the waters before finding the victim. The South Callaway Fire Protection District and Callaway County Sheriff’s Office also provided help, according to the release.
