Fatal House Fire Under Investigation in Callaway County
One person is dead after a house fire late Sunday night in Callaway County.
Fire crews were called to a home on County Road 305 west of Fulton around 11:24 p.m., where they found the structure heavily involved in flames.
Due to the intensity of the fire and unsafe conditions, firefighters were forced to take a defensive approach.
Crews spent several hours bringing the fire under control and securing the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office. Multiple agencies assisted, including Fulton Fire, Callaway County EMS, and the Sheriff’s Office.
