Mizzou has NCAA Champion, softball wins, baseball loses

Senior diver Collier Dyer (Littleton, Colo claimed Mizzou diving’s first NCAA Championship yesterday. He broke the program record with a 497.75 in the 3-meter dive and becomes just the second NCAA Champion for the Tigers and the first diver to accomplish the feat.

Mizzou softball continued their up-and-down year with a 3-0 shutout of Auburn yesterday. MU (17-18, 2-5 SEC) shut out the Tigers behind Senior RHP Cierra Harrison, who went 5.0 scoreless innings, as she improved to 8-4 on the season. Sophomore Madison Uptegrove led the charge on the offensive end with two RBIs and her second home run of the season.

Mizzou baseball fell to #25 Texas A&M in a slug-fest last night, 11-9. The Tigers out hit the Aggies 13-8 in the loss.
