A Columbia woman is facing multiple charges after police say she attacked a man and threw bleach in his face.
Officers were called April 8 to West Worley Street, where they found the victim who said 31-year-old Dequia Blake chased him, threw bleach in his eyes, and hit him several times during an argument.
Police say Blake later grabbed a knife, leading the victim to run for help at a nearby bus stop.
Officers arrested Blake shortly after. She’s now charged with armed criminal action, third-degree domestic assault, and unlawful use of a weapon, and is being held in the Boone County Jail on a $50,000 bond
