Columbia Woman in Court After Crash Spree


A Columbia Woman is due in court Today,

30-year-old Cassandra Albright is in custody after a series of crashes in a Columbia neighborhood on April 3rd.

Investigators say Albright drove into a home with six people inside including four children then hit a trailer, a fence, and eventually a tree.

Court documents say she’d been drinking throughout the day and became upset after being told she couldn’t drive.

A witness reported she appeared intoxicated and tried to stop her.

Albright faces charges including first-degree assault, leaving the scene, and DWI.

Albright is due in Boone County court today at 1 p.m.
