MFA to buy four Missouri ADM grain elevators

MFA announced earlier today that the cooperative will be purchasing four ADM grain elevators in northeast Missouri.

MFA Incorporated, the farmer‑owned agricultural cooperative serving producers across Missouri, announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire grain elevators located in Montgomery City, Center, Novelty and Shelbina.

The acquisition represents approximately 6 million bushels of licensed grain storage capacity.

MFA Chief Operating Officer Jason Weirich added that MFA intends to honor existing grain contracts at the acquired facilities, subject to customary reviews. Operations at each location are expected to continue as normal following closing of the transaction.

The transaction is expected to close late summer 2026.
