If you’ve been to the Lake of the Ozarks, and have seen that big green and white tower being installed near the Grand Glaize Bridge, and were curious as to what it is. Well, it’s the first of 12 amusement rides coming to Oasis Lake of the Ozarks.
The tower ride, named ‘The Plunge,’ will lift riders 100 feet into the air to experience views of the lake before plunging back down to the ground at high speeds. The ride has carriage seats for 12 and slowly rotates, giving each rider a nice view of the lake before an unexpected drop.
The amusement park will be part of the new Marriott Resort property that will house multiple restaurants and feature attractions like the Plunge, two roller coasters, a nearly 200-foot-tall observation wheel, and the largest indoor water park in Missouri.
