Another Moberly man has been arrested in connection to 16-year-old Kayla Huff’s disappearance and death.
According to probable cause statements, 24-year-old Skyler Powell helped Alayna Mason remove her handcuffs and hide from police after Mason allegedly stole a patrol vehicle during an arrest.
20-year-old Mason is one of two people charged with the murder of 16-year-old Kayla Huff, and there are now five total adults and one juvenile in custody for varying charges connected to the incident.
For his involvement in hiding the suspect, Powell has been charged with hindering prosecution of a felony, and is being jailed without bond in Randolph County.
Powell had his arraignment at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
