The Mexico Water District will flush all mains in the system starting today through Friday, weather permitting.
Flushing will occur during daytime hours, beginning at approximately 6:30 am.
Loss of pressure and discolored water may result but should be of short duration. Customers should refrain from drawing water during flushing hours to avoid getting discolored water into internal plumbing.
The Mexico Water District will not be responsible for damage to piping on heating systems not equipped with proper vacuum breaking valves in good working order.
The Mexico Water District will attempt to keep this schedule, however, variations could occur. Monday- Flushing will begin in the Roxbury Rd. area and Continue to the Kimball Ave., Middle Ave., Intervale Ave., N. Main St., Dix and Holman Ave. areas.
