The Columbia Farmers Market is gearing up to open its 46th season on April 4 at Columbia’s Agriculture Park on West Ash Street.
Opening day festivities will feature live music from Harmony Creek and Jack Semelsberger, plus a drop-in kids’ activity hosted by the Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture.
The market runs Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon, offering fresh, locally grown produce, meats, cheeses, honey, flowers, and artisan goods, all from mid-Missouri farmers and makers.
Shoppers can pay with cards, cash, or SNAP through the market’s Oasis booth.
This season also brings a new opportunity for local nonprofits to host free children’s activities.
and the Midweek Market Meetup returns Today.
The market will take place every Wednesday from 4-7 pm through August 26th.
