A Columbia teen has been certified to be tried as an adult yesterday in Boone County Court in connection to a shooting near the Columbia Mall in January.
Darius Lamb is being jailed without bond. He was 17 at the time of the incident, but has since turned 18.
Lamb is charged with vehicle hijacking, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree property damage in connection to the January 3rd incident where shots were fired, but no one was hurt.
