Texas starter Nathan Eovaldi held the Royals hitless through four innings. The Rangers went up 2-0 following a Jake Burger RBI single in the second and a pair of Royals throwing errors that allowed Evan Carter to score in the fourth

Maikel Garcia hit an RBI triple to tie it, Vinnie Pasquantino followed with a go-ahead ground-rule double, and Caglianone capped the rally with a massive 431-foot, two-run homer off reliever Jalen Beeks

The St. Louis Cardinals shut out the New York Mets 7-0 Last night
The Cardinals blew the game open early with a four-run third inning against Mets starter Freddy Peralta. JJ Wetherholt got the scoring started with a two-run single, followed by an RBI double from Jordan Walker and a run-scoring groundout by Lars Nootbaar.
Alec Burleson paced the offense the rest of the night, launching a 378-foot, two-run home run to left-center field in the fifth inning and adding an RBI double down the right-field line in the seventh.
On the mound, Dustin May earned his first win since late April, scattering just four hits over six shutout innings while striking out six. The Cardinals’ bullpen closed the door with three scoreless relief innings from Justin Bruihl and Matt Svanson.
