A Moberly woman is facing an assault charge after repeatedly striking her boyfriend on Saturday night.
44-year-old Tomi Carter reportedly began striking a victim when she went through his phone and found out that he was active on an online dating platform.
Carter allegedly struck him multiple times and bit him on the hand to the point of bleeding.
Carter was charged with third degree domestic assault and is being held in the Randolph County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
