Jeff City High School to Name Basketball Court After NBA Champ Alum

On Thursday night, the Jefferson City Board of Education voted unanimously to name their high school basketball court at Fleming Fieldhouse after former Jay OG Anunoby, who recently won the NBA Championship with the New York Knicks.

The 2015 Jeff City High School graduate played an integral role in the Knicks’ championship run, with the crucial game winning tip-in shot in game 4 of the NBA Finals, while averaging 20 points per game in the playoffs.

Jefferson City High School said in a press release that Anunoby’s signature will be prominently displayed on the court at Fleming Fieldhouse, and that a dedication ceremony will take place sometime in the fall of 2026.
