Fulton Man Arrested for Child Sex Crimes
A Fulton man has been charged with multiple child sex crimes.
33-year-old Justin Stegeman was charged with sexual misconduct involving a child younger than 15 years old, fourth-degree child molestation and second-degree statutory rape.
The victim reportedly told police about what happened during a sexual assault exam at the hospital, saying that Stegeman allegedly tried to rape the victim in a pool on June 12th. He then called the victim’s parent to ask them to swim again on June 18th, allegedly making a lie that his children would be there to play with the victim.
Stegeman then reportedly raped the victim after swimming. Law enforcement interview him on June 24th and he allegedly admitted to the illegal sexual contact.
Stegeman is being jailed without bond and has a bond hearing on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
