A Boonville man was seriously injured in a go-kart crash Saturday evening in Cooper County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a go-kart stopped in the roadway on Rocheport Road when it was struck by a dirt bike driven by a 15-year-old Boonville boy.
The collision caused the go-kart to overturn, trapping its 33-year-old driver underneath.
Both drivers were ejected from their vehicles and taken to University Hospital. The man suffered serious injuries, while the teenager was treated for minor injuries.
