The former Moberly police officer who was found guilty of murder last week has paid his bond and will stay out of jail until his sentencing.
David Kip Heyde was found guilty on Friday of Second Degree Murder in the death of Bailey Scott in 2025.
Heyde reportedly paid his $100,000 bond and has been released until his sentencing on August 1st at 1 p.m.
