Columbia K9 Officer Enters Retirement

The Columbia Police Department is announcing the retirement of K9 officer, Raf, after 7 years of service.

A ceremony took place on Wednesday in which Raf, and his handler, Office Michael Parsons were presented with a custom wooden flag.

Raf began his service in 2009, and has since apprehended numerous suspects and detected narcotics.

He will enjoy his retirement with Parsons and his family. Food and canine care in his retirement will be provided by Bourne Feed and Pet Center.
