Trial dates have been set for a Kansas City man charged in a deadly 2022 shooting at J. Pfenny’s Sports Grill and Pub in Jefferson City.
Damien Davis faces two counts of first-degree murder and several other felony charges in the deaths of 26-year-old Skylar Smock and 43-year-old Corey Thames.
Court documents say the shooting followed a fight, and investigators allege Davis admitted to firing the handgun.
His five-day trial is scheduled to begin February 22, with prosecutors continuing to seek the death penalty.
