Columbia Man Charged with Drug Possession, Child Endangerment

A Columbia man has been charged after police found fentanyl during a search at his residence last week.

According to court documents, Columbia Police and Narcotics Unit Officers served a seach warrant on Thursday.

The house reportedly belonged to 29-year-old Trey Keith, and officers found white powdery substance that tested positive for fentanyl totaling 173 grams, as well as $2,684 in cash.

There were also three children living at the home.

Prosecutors charged Keith with First Degree Drug Trafficking and three counts of First Degree Endangering Welfare of Child Involving Drugs.

He was being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
