Callaway County Discussing Potential Data Center Plans

Mid-Missouri has seen multiple data center developments recently, and Callaway County is the next one showing possible interest.

The county has reportedly been in talks with Crusoe, an artificial intelligence company, about a data center, but no agreements have been signed.

Preserve Callaway County Missouri, LLC held a community discussion at the Fulton Legends Rec-Plex yesterday to talk about a possible plan, where about 100 people attended, most of whom voiced concerns about potential ideas.

The event featured speakers from Montgomery County who shared their thoughts on the Google and Amazon data centers in their own county.

The Callaway County Chamber of Commerce announced a joint informational open house with Crusoe on July 14 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. to talk about the potential data center project.
