More than 1,200 Ameren Missouri customers in Cole County lost power Thursday evening after an outage began around 7:15 in Jefferson City.
Ameren dispatched a service crew to investigate the cause and restore service.
While the utility initially estimated power would be back by 10:15 p.m., crews restored electricity much sooner.
According to Ameren’s outage map, service was fully restored and the outage ended around 8:30 p.m.
The outage affected more than 1,200 customers at its peak.
