Deadly Home Invasion in Miller County
A man is dead after an alleged home invasion in Miller County.
The Sheriff’s Office says the 35-year-old was shot Monday evening after reportedly kicking in the door of his ex-wife’s home on Big Oak Lane near Brumley while armed with a rifle.
Investigators say another man inside the home fired the fatal shot.
The case remains under investigation and will be forwarded to the Miller County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.
Authorities say the incident was isolated, and there is no threat to the public.
