All charges have been dropped in a case of a Jefferson City man who was accused of a fatal crash on Highway 50 in October 2025.
Jervontaye Warmack was originially charged with Second Degree Involuntary Manslaughter, Driving While Intoxicated, and two Counts of First Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child
On Tuesday, all of those charges were dropped. According to reporting from KRCG, Cole County Prosecutor Locke Thompson said the case was dismissed after lab results came back on blood drawn from Warmack showing that he was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when the crash happened.
Furthermore, the Jefferson City Police Department’s crash reconstruction team reportedly discovered that the victim was at fault by cutting across the divided median when the crash happened.
