The Kansas City Royals defeated the San Francisco Giants 4-3 last night at Kauffman Stadium, securing the win on a walk-off safety squeeze bunt.
The Giants took an early lead on Heliot Ramos’ solo homer, but the Royals answered with Salvador Perez’s two-run shot and an RBI single from Isaac Collins to go up 3-1.
San Francisco tied it in the ninth on Willy Adames’ two-run homer, but the Royals won in walk-off fashion when Nick Loftin’s squeeze bunt brought home Josh Rojas.
Bobby Witt Jr. (back tightness) and Trevor McDonald (right elbow discomfort) both left the game early with injuries.

The St. Louis Cardinals fell to the Los Angeles Angels 3-2 last night (in a dramatic, 9th-inning walk-off finish at Angel Stadium
The Cardinals built a 2-0 lead early, but Jo Adell’s solo homer got the Angels within one.
After a strong pitching duel, the Angels rallied in the ninth as Vaughn Grissom tied the game with an RBI double before Jo Adell drew a walk-off hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded, giving Los Angeles a 3-2 win.
