A 68-year-old Tennessee woman was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Monday morning in Boone County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened just before 8:45 on southbound Route UU, north of Blue Jay Way.
Troopers say the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, traveled onto a private driveway, overturned, and threw the driver from the bike.
She was taken by Boone County EMS to University Hospital with serious injuries.
The Highway Patrol reports she was not wearing a helmet.
