A Holts Summit man pleaded guilty yesterday to charges that he stole a truck and led authorities on a chase that ended in Columbia in January 2026.
Zachary Fewis pleaded guilty to a felony counts of Stealing a Motor Vehicle and Aggravated Fleeing a Stop, as well as four misdemeanors.
The incident reportedly happened on January 31, 2026, when Fewins led authorities on a chase in a stolen GMC Sierra from a resident in Holts Summit, reaching speeds over 140 mph. Officers used spike strips and tactical vehicle intervention to stop him.
Fewins was being held in the Callaway County Jail without bond.
He will be sentenced on September 28, 2026.
