Two Cats Found Deceased in Montgomery County Fire, No Other Injuries
Two cats died in a residential fire in Montgomery County on Wednesday morning.
The Montgomery Fire Protection District responded to Garden Place around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Crews found heavy smoke in the basement that had carried throughout the ground floor. The crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but much of the residence suffered smoke damage.
The department shared that no injuries were reported from the fire, but two pet cats were found deceased.
