Mexico Public Schools and the Mexico Public Safety Department immediately coordinated so that staff members and officers could be aware of the call and be alert to any suspicious activity or items in or around the schools. At approximately 8:39AM, the man called Joint Communications again, stating there were no bombs and that he had misunderstood something he overheard.
