Boone County Man Arrested After Gunfire
A Boone County man is facing multiple charges after deputies say he fired a gun inside a home Thursday morning.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office says 47-year-old Clinton McLain allegedly pointed a gun at a victim during an argument and fired in the victim’s direction. A bullet struck a wall near where the victim was sitting.
Two children allegedly witnessed the incident. No injuries were reported.
McLain is accused of first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He is being held in the Boone County Jail without bond.
