Columbia Man Charged After I-70 Road Rage Gun Incident

A Columbia man is facing charges after police say he pointed a gun and laser at a car during an apparent road rage incident on Interstate 70.

Court documents say a 17-year-old called 911 Saturday, reporting a man in a red pickup pointed a firearm and laser at him near mile marker 105.
Officers later found the truck in a Columbia parking lot, where they say Jalin Crenshaw and a passenger had two loaded pistols.

Crenshaw denied pointing the gun and told investigators the teen had been following him.

He faces fourth-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon charges.

His next court appearance is September 22 in Cooper County.
