Ralls County Suspends Flock Camera Usage
The Ralls County Sheriff Brian Allen announced yesterday that the Sheriff’s Office is suspending its use of Flock cameras. The Flock camera system has come under fire recently due to alleged misuse and privacy concerns, and some places like Pulaski and St. Charles discontinued their use recently.
The Sheriff’s office in Ralls County said they had one Flock camera in the northbound lanes of US 61 which has now been covered up, and on in on a mobile traffic trailer, which is now in the Sheriff’s Office parking lot.
