The Kansas City Royals fell to The Toronto Blue Jays 9-2 at Kauffman Stadium.
The Blue Jays jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first inning.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Colorado Rockies 7-6 at Coors Field,
Iván Herrera smashed a dramatic three-run, go-ahead home run in the top of the ninth inning to rally the St. Louis Cardinals past the Colorado Rockies, Trailing 6-4 entering the final frame, the Cardinals capitalized on a leadoff walk by Thomas Saggese and a critical throwing error by Rockies third baseman Connor Norby.
Down to a 1-2 count, Herrera crushed a 430-foot blast to center field off Jordan Romano, sealing Romano’s fourth blown save of the year and keeping St. Louis firmly in the crowded National League wild-card hunt
