Man Accused of Pointing Rifle at Five Juveniles
A Jefferson City man is facing six charges after police say he pointed a rifle at five juveniles Saturday night.
Court documents say 21-year-old Cassius Bello allegedly chased the group in a purple car after nearly hitting their vehicle near Olive Garden on Missouri Boulevard.
The juveniles told police Bello pointed a black rifle at them and that they feared for their lives.
Officers later found Bello in the Olive Garden parking lot with a rifle equipped with a light and laser.
Bello denied pointing the gun, but told investigators he was chasing and yelling at the group.
He is being held without bond. His first court appearance is Wednesday afternoon.
