Three Jefferson City Men Charged in Robbery Attempt

Three Jefferson City men are facing charges following an alleged armed robbery attempt Saturday afternoon.

31-year-old Brandon Watts, 36-year-old Bryan Schaffer and 24-year-old Ryan Sullens are all being held without bond in the Cole County Jail.

According to court documents, a victim told police one of the men pointed a gun at his head at a Cherry Street residence and demanded money.

The suspects were later stopped in a vehicle near East High and Benton streets. Police say a BB gun was found nearby after Sullens allegedly threw it from the vehicle.

All three face multiple felony charges, including armed criminal action.
